Changed days indeed. I'm certain today's Cymdeithas Bêl-droed Cymru would never pick a stadium outside Wales (that's easy for you to say!) Serves them right. Putting money first more or less says, "We might not qualify, but we'll earn a couple of quid." Not a great motivator. And it ended up full of Scottish fans as a result. Not one of them saw a handball. Did democracy not exist in those days?

God remember this game like it was yesterday - I was 13 - game live on the telly back when live games only came around every 4 years for World Cups, England v Scotland & Cup Finals…..Even then I was certain it was big Joes arm that went up & handled the ball….how any Scot cud say otherwise defies belief….Archie biased never 😀😀😀- ref clearly had a soft spot for big Joe 🤣🤣🤣

To 7 year old me that Dalglish goal was the greatest thing I had ever seen.

I was 7 then too and I agree with you. Kenny seemed to fly through the air.

Good spot. If you watch the video of the game you’ll see that they used invisible nets. It’s these details that matter.
