I’m off the belief that there are only three linesmen / assistant referees working in Scottish football.

The wee baldy one, the tall one with the tattoo sleeves and Douglas Fucking Ross.

I’m sure they’re used to getting it tight from supporters (especially DFR) but I think the job itself is going to get so much harder if the proposed Arsene Wenger offside rule is implemented. Now the attacker is onside as long as there is not daylight between him and the last defender. It’ll still mean drawing silly VAR lines just at a different point. It also means that attacker’s are going to look offside but won’t be.

I would imagine that assistants are just never going to put their flags up anymore and let VAR sort it out. Actually, maybe that makes their job easier. In fact, we don’t even need them anymore. Fuck you Douglas Fucking Ross!
