Well that was an underwhelming weekend of football. While some supporters go home happy to be in the semi finals, the games that I watched were pretty joyless.
Which is to say I didn’t see any of Kilmarnock and St Mirren playing out a draw other than replays of Jayden Richardson’s chest volley combo.
I did see the penalties which were all really well taken except for the one that Kyle Magennis missed which was “a nice height for the goalie”. The lack of VAR came to Saints rescue as well. That’s the thing with VAR now, when it’s not there you can get even more laughable errors than the ones you get with VAR.

Saturday was all set up for a tasty double header. As it turned out it was nothing more than a pair of wet farts.
Take nothing away from Motherwell though. Knowing that you only need one goal to beat Aberdeen they managed to miss a few golden chances before finding the net through a cracker from Ronald Reagan and Charles Cook.
