It’s Wednesday and do my eyes deceive me or is this a pre 9am posting of The Stickler. I’ve got to tell you it feels good.

Did you catch Arsenal’s expunging Real Madrid last night? I don’t think anybody thought they had it in them and they probably didn’t if it wasn’t for a Declan Rice masterclass in how to take a free kick.
His first brought up a few Bend It Like Declan tweets on my timeline.
Remember how Roberto Carlos made a career out of trying to replicate his bendy free kick against France? Well, let’s hope Declan’s free kicks don’t go down a similar path of mediocrity.
