The Tuesday Stickler
Part 2 of the weekend review
And so it is Tuesday…..
Which means we’re thinking about Sunday past. Right? Right.
The Edinburgh Derby. I watched on the telly, my wife and youngest daughter (17) were in their usual seats in the main stand as I would call it.
They didn’t have to wait long for Hibs to score. Big ball over the top and Martin Boyle’s hair hamster put the afterburners on to outrun and out muscle Gerald Taylor to the ball and get the nice finish in.
Didn’t last long though. What’s the saying? He who hesitates is Rocky Bushiri. Something like that. Rocky gets distracted enough to make an arse of his clearance and Jorge Grant smacks it in the pokey. 1-1.
Gorgie Analytics edged the first half but Hibs adapted, got a grip of themselves and dominated the second half. The reward came from a sensational winner from Jack Iredale who melted it past Craig Gordon.
