The Tuesday Stickler
Transfer window shenanigans and the Gypsy King retires again
Tuesday is upon us
I’m making a concerted effort now to get the newsletter out at a consistent time - around about 9am. Timing had been progressively slipping over the Christmas holidays and I’d like to get that routine back. So here we are.
We start with transfer news. Since the window is open it’s time for all the speculation, gossip and bullshit to hit the headlines. Will Kyogo end up somewhere else in January is a question doing the rounds after the wee man was spotted in some red and black vertical stripes. Must have been a top top club.
Atlanta United? Home of The Two Ronnies (Deila and Hernandez). An erroneous website entry you say? Where there’s smoke there’s fire.
In actual transfer news, Aberdeen continue to do very solid short term and long term business. It’s really got Jimmy Thelin’s creative juices flowing.
Ex Don and current Liverpool employee Calvin Ramsay has arrived on loan at Kilmarnock. Poor Calvin has been plagued by injuries since heading to Merseyside. I’m sure the plastic pitch will do him the world of good.
