Good Morning on what is allegedly going to be a sweltering Thursday.

Let’s start with a nauseating bit of telly from last night as Rio Ferdinand and Ally McCoist interviewed lifelong Villa fan Prince William ahead of their Champions League match in Paris against PSG.

Dunno how the man who should brave the head shave got a ticket for him and his kid.

Rio and Ally and Fletch are a brutal TNT Sports combo that only the execs of the channel must like. Proof if needed by my spotting that TNT are doing a snooker related show (they must have absorbed coverage from Eurosport) with Ronnie O’Surlychops and Jimmy White being interviewed by……..Ally and Fletch!

Rio is just on another level of bad. We’ll leave it at that.

How good are PSG. What an absolute joy to watch. I’ve not seen much of Barcelona but I believe they’re on a similar path just now. What a final that would be.

Today’s newsletter is another bumper offering so a reminder……………..

Thursday Rangers are in action tonight. After Weekend Rangers capitulation at the hands of Hibernian, an angry Barry had promised there would be long, hard looks in the mirror and long, hard conversations. So what change will that bring for the first leg against Athletic Bilbao.

Who’s in goals? The Holey Goalie or The World’s Shortest Goalie?

Who will replace the suspended John Souttar and Mo Diamonde?

With the weather as it is we are confronted with a pollen bomb this week. What effect will that have?

Will Surreal Dessers be given another chance up front?

And what’s to be done with Captain Tav?

Charlie Mulgrew admirably fell on his sword this week after a humiliating 6-0 home defeat to relegated Dumbarton was the last straw in a dismal run as Kelty Hearts boss. Naturally, this will not harm his punditry career. In fact, it opens up new doors for him as we find out with a visit to Pundits Club.

Kudos if you get the opening joke.
