Hello everyone

The strange headspace continues for me today and I’ve got a banging headache to add to that. Think I’ll have a lie down.

But first…….

The Stickler Effect - drawing a cartoon about someone who then goes on to have a significant impact on the days events.

Yesterday I drew Adam The Log and Kasper The Michelin Man. And didn’t they both turn out to be the heroes of the evening. You’re welcome Celtic fans.

Celtic’s twitter admin was doing some world class spin last night telling us that Adam forced the own goal with his chance (aka miss). It was a sublime pass from Hatate that sent The Log through and his shit shot rebounded off the keeper onto the foot shin of Benito.

Have no doubt Celtic deserved the win and probably the stroke of luck too.

If this was Kyogo’s last game in the hoops then what a way to go out. Offside as fuck. It’ll be a shame to lose the wee guy but if Handsome Jota returns then I might just be able to cope.

Talking of leaving players, I’m a bit gutted that Caitlin Hayes has left Celtic. Always been a favourite to watch in the SWPL. I wish her well at Brighton.

In other Champions League happenings, Manchester City turned a 2-0 lead at PSG into a 4-2 defeat. Watching the highlights, PSG were better throughout and Pep admitted as much. After a couple of decent results he’s scuttling back to rejoin the Unwise Men.

The Stickler is a reader-supported publication that exists thanks to paying subscribers. For the price of a coffee each month you can support my work and keep this newsletter going. Thank you.

This is a seamless transition into tonight’s Europe league games as the other two Unwise Men are in action. First up is Ange and his Spurs in Germany to take on David Hasselhoffenheim. That’s a 5.45 kick off.
