The Monday Stickler
Rocky and some horror shows
Hello everyone
I hope this edition of The Stickler finds you well. I’m sure many of you are back at work for the first time today and facing emails hoping to find you well. Haha what a grind. And the awkward Happy New Year’s with colleagues. What a joy.
My job is to try and be a highlight in your day, a moment of sweet relief. I hope I hit the mark for you in 2025.

Let’s go through the games then.
It was a full Premiership card yesterday starting at Easter Road with a doozy between Hibs and Rangers. Still high from their skudding of Celtic, the Rangers scored early through Hamza Igamane. He’s got a lovely smile. It wasn’t long before we saw it twice as a rare headed goal for the Bears made it 2-0.
I thought Hibs could be in for a hiding as Rangers peppered their goal but I was wrong. Martin Boyle pulled one back before the half and then Hibs were awarded a penalty that the Count was less than impressed with.
On replay it looked pretty soft but was it a clear and obvious error by John Beaton? Probably not. 2-2 as Boyle rammed it home.
Fancy an Igamane perfect hat trick? An individual Hibs error left Cerny with a chance to cut one back for lethal Hamza.
Time for Rocky Bushiri to take centre stage.
