Hey everyone

Life events in the Fitbatweets house and family continue to wreak havoc on timings I’m afraid. This evening’s newsletter covers the Saturday games and I’ll cover Sunday’s games tomorrow.

Let’s start with the best laugh of the weekend which yet again means we’re looking at the Rangers. The Brogue Brothers second game in charge started as badly as the first one. A tremendous display of goalkeeping prowess from Jack Butland.

It got worse. And on Armed Forces Day as well. The shame.

Rangers clawed it back from 0-2 to 1-2 but there was no repeat of the Killie Comeback. An absolute shocker that registered zero xST (expected staunchness).

Personally I think it would have been right for Sportscene to have got Neil McCann back on the sofa to be interrogated by Thommo.

Incidentally, why does he pronounce it Ibrix? Kenny MacIntyre does that too. It really grates on me.

‘‘Twas a crucial game at Dens Park for the bottom two Dundee and Perth Saints. The away side took the lead when the Dee defence decided not to bother marking Mackenzie Kirk.
