Another afternoon post I’m afraid. Sorry. Sometimes the drawing takes a while.

It’s Scottish Cup 4th round weekend. 16 games, 5 televised, spread over 4 days which is a bit of a shame, especially having the Dundee derby on a Monday night. It’s a weekend free of Ian Crocker’s voice too and that’s got to be worth celebrating.

Before we get into that the breaking news this morning was that Erling Haaland had signed a 10 year contract extension with Man City. That’s a long time. Part of the deal is that he’s never to cut his hair for fear he could turn out like Stevie May.

This got me thinking. Who at your team would you like to see sign a 10 year contract?

First stop tonight is the hedge at Brechin City as they take on Gorgie Analytics. Brad McKay and Kev McHattie are the two ex Jambos in the Brechin team along with nomadic striker Cillian Sheridan.

Gorgie fans might be getting the fear after they were pumped out by Highland league Brora Rangers in the COVID era. Will history repeat itself tonight?
