Season 26/27 begins. Here’s what it’s going to look like from Row Z

Fitbatweets kicked off with the new 2018/19 season as a way to express my football thoughts in a cartoon way. Eight years later and things have come a long way, even if the quality in the final third of the football hasn’t.
When I rebranded Fitbatweets as Row Z just before the World Cup it was to allow me to deliver a better experience for my newsletter subscribers, social media viewers and store customers and to put me in position to achieve my own potential.
To make sure I’m always delivering the high quality cartoons you’ve enjoyed over the years with the ’insightful’ written thoughts to match I’m introducing a clean, structured weekly rhythm starting now.
Here is what you can expect in your inbox every week:
MONDAY (Free for everyone): The Weekend Review
A compilation of all the weekend’s big moments on the pitch and reaction to them fired straight to your inbox and on the app to kick off the week. This’ll come out on Tuesday this week because of the rare Monday Night Football at Celtic Park.
WEDNESDAY (Free for everyone): The Midweek Trumpet
Cartoons covering whatever nonsense and fallout has been happening off the pitch.
FRIDAY (For paying subscribers): The Friday Funbag
My flagship release of the week. Friday is all about your favourite character stories. This is where you’ll find Pundit Club, the Football Gods and new characters like The Rest is Overkill, Ref Off and The Wee Ultras.
There’ll be a bit of free content here too when there’s European football on the go.
Expanding the Playing Field
Scottish football was always the heart and soul of Fitbatweets and with Row Z that isn’t changing. But moving forward, I’ll also be bringing my <cough> talents to the English Premier League, European nights, and other sports events I like to watch like NFL, tennis, golf, boxing, darts, snooker, egg chasing. On top of that I’ll be dipping my toe into the worlds of entertainment and maybe even a bit of politics. If you like my humour I hope you’ll enjoy these cartoons too.
