Miami nice or Miami not so nice
Are Scotland going to noodle their way into the knockout round?
I’m writing this a couple of hours before kick off having been emotionally scarred by ITV looking back at our 1986 campaign when we couldn’t get a fucking win when it mattered.
Is that a portent for tonight? I have two thoughts. Only two.
This is not the Brazil of old. Stars that you only saw every four years and who played their club football in exotic places. These lads play for your Bournemouths, your Brentfords, your West Hams and the like.
Vini Jr is probably the star and he couldn’t hold a candle to any of those guys.
Will Steve Clarke adjust accordingly?
I’m not convinced that we’ll see anything other than a containment game again and a loss. We’ll probably still get through though so the end justifies the means right?
What are your thoughts?
Cheers
Keith

I've hated much of this world cup for "reasons"
This game kicking off at 11pm on a school night and the fact I know Clarke will bottle it are two more reasons
Unfortunately Brazil need to win, and win well, to top the group. We just have to hope Brazil have one of those games where they can't score. Vini jr. against Nathan Patterson is frightening. But lads, just think if we win and Morocco don't, we'll top the group!
