Hello

Every week is a pivotal week at the top from now on. But that’s not to say the football is actually any good. No doubt Celtic have fallen dramatically into a workmanlike side that can grind out wins and credit to them for that. Rangers are plateauing a bit from Danny’s early days and now the Bloomhearts are faltering.

It’s exciting but we can’t pretend it’s not shit.

That kind of sums up yesterday’s Dundee derby too. That ending was genuinely hilarious as Ross Graham’s gives away a ridiculous free kick and follows it up with the most nonchalant headed own goal you’re ever likely to see.

On the day of the Oscars this was absolute box office stuff.

My thoughts quickly turned to the dugouts.

My newsletter sales pitch managed to get me one new subscriber last week. It’s tough going right now and it would help me hugely if more people became paying subscribers. I’m offering a special price this month.

In an effort to get this newsletter to more eyes can I ask for a couple of things please.

  1. Likes, shares, comments help to promote the newsletter more across the Substack community so please do that if you can.

  2. If you’re currently a free subscriber please consider switching to becoming a paying subscriber. It really does make all the difference to supporting my work.

Subscribe now for only £2 a month by taking out an annual subscription at the special and limited time price of £24.

I’ve also been sharing my other newsletter Keith Notes since it started last month. I’ve only got a tiny number of subscribers there so please take a look and join in.

Was a difficult week for anyone listening to Radio Scotland, watching Sportscene and indulging in Premier Sports. If you’re anything like me you would have suffered from TMC. Too Much Craigan.
