Full Bloom
Tony’s team go clear as Pressley’s plan comes together. And the Rangers saga is over for the time being.
A weekend of cracking goals and results I didn’t see coming judging by my predictions in The Roaster. I did get 2-2 at Ibrox spot on but the other five games were way off.
Quite the turn of events for Rangers then. After looking like it was going to be Kevin Muscat signing up, there was a wee hiccup that had the Rangers podcasters in an emergency pod flap on a Saturday night.
Stewart & Thelwell have made a complete arse of this entire process and to get so close again and have the rug pulled reeks of incompetence. By Sunday they had pivoted again to a man who had last week dropped out the running - Danny The Toilet Rohl.
This afternoon it was announced that Toilet Rohl was indeed the new Rangers head coach.
It must be a good feeling to have everyone know you were passed over for Russell Martin in the summer and behind Steven Gerrard and Kevin Muscat at least this time. We’ll see how it goes but I think the supporters have every right to be sceptical.
Now let’s talk weekend football.

A bonanza of four 3pm kick offs. The Leith Football Team got back on track with a 4-0 skudding of a miserable (and now bottom of the league) Livingston outfit.
