Aberdeen clag on as Celtic and Rangers are flushed away
As is becoming depressingly consistent our teams eeked out one point from nine last night. That point was from an unexpected place as Aberdeen acquitted themselves well against top dogs AEK Larnaca. Jimmy working some kind of magic again.
Although Mullet Milanovic should have scored late on you could say the same for the Larnaca lad who missed a 94th minute header that would have been a brutal kick in the grunties for the Dons. You have to be happy with the point and a resilient, organised performance.
Same cannot be said for Celtic as the wheel’s came off Professor O’s chair. Losing three in 11 minutes is some going but it could have been more. Dermot sent a hologram message.
I only watched half of the Rangers Roma game which matched the half arsed effort that Roma needed to comfortably despatch Danny’s boys. Here’s a half arsed cartoon.
