A Question of Bottle
Catching up on Sunday’s action
Hello
Thanks for all your messages yesterday. A scary time but I’m glad to say my wife is home and resting now.
So as the family was at Easter Road I was going to take in a Derby double header on the TV screen but obviously all of that went straight out the window.
I did manage to catch the Sportscene highlights last night. This is what I saw.
After scoring with his knee without even knowing it, Will Ferry fired in a cracking second despite succumbing to the knack.
Tremendous Alan Rough impression from McCracken there. The game was spoiled slightly by another ‘all eyes on me’ moment from ref MacDermid and VAR. If the Dundee goal is disallowed for a shirt pull then surely there’s a penalty in there too. Nice to see Mikey Stewart was on comms for that.

At Ibrix I was fully expecting a home win given what was at stake and with Motherwell having gone a wee bit off the boil of late. But then it’s a question of bottle, of holding your nerve, standing tall when the chips are down and the yards are hard. Channeling my inner Stephen Craigan there.
