More free time for the Data Lads

We’re now full throttle into our new season as the EPL and SWPL both got underway. I’ll have a look at them in tomorrow’s newsletter. Today’s focus is the last 16 of the Premier Sports Cup.
There weren’t any shocks as such I suppose. The Roaster got 6 out of 8 right which I’m quite chuffed with. Maybe not a shock but certainly a laugh was the demise of Bloomhearts. 1-1 at Paisley Saints after extra time we went to penalties. They were all pretty decent but Claudio Braga had his saved by Shamal George.
No need for Derek and the players to visualise this trophy for another year then. No Europe either so plenty of free time for Derek to spend at his desk reading tweets and taking calls from disgruntled part owners.
After the turnstile….the rest of the cup action including Rangers new arcade game, Brendan gets frosty and the Football Gods are in Greenock.
