Triangle of Sadness

Hello

The Rangers are through to the Champions League play off against Club Brugge after a 2-1 loss to Viktoria Plzen, 4-2 win on aggregate. Lyall Cameron grabbed the goal that alleviated any bum squeaking amongst the Gers support.

Apparently that’s Danilo with the assist although I’m sure he was shooting. Surreal Dessers might have suffered a bad injury in the old knee area. Let’s hope he’s okay.

Bigger picture the mood music around Russell Martin continues to be as depressing as Radiohead’s most morose hits. There can’t be a surprise this is happening though. Everyone knew about his rigid football philosophy of passing to death. Does he have the players to do it? Is it the kind of football Rangers fans want to see? Another game, another triangle of sadness.

If it’s going to work it needs time. Like Ange needed time. But as we all know, time is rarely afforded in Scottish fitba. Thoughts?

After the paywall….a two star preview.
